Mission
We provide financial and leadership resources for aspiring female entrepreneurs building businesses to solve today's biggest social issues so they can have a boundless impact in society.
Boundless Futures Foundation supports entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations through its two grant-making programs.
EmpowHer Grants
Eligible Applicants: Female entrepreneurs 22 years of age and older with businesses registered and operating in the United States. An applicant’s business must 1) make a clear social impact, 2) be a registered for-profit entity, 3) be earning revenue, and 4) not be more than 3 years old. To be awarded grant funding, applicants self-report a credit score and agree to a third-party background check. Please refer to the Boundless Futures Foundation website for more information.
Businesses that are eligible for an EmpowHer Grant address one of the following social issues* through their product or business model:
- Poverty & Hunger
- Sustainability & the Environment
- Strong Communities
EmpowHer Grants are reviewed quarterly: applications are open for 4-6 weeks at the start of each quarter. If you do not have enough time to complete an application before it closes, please consider waiting to begin in the next quarter:
- Q1: January-March
- Q2: April-June
- Q3: July-September
- Q4: October-December
*We define 'social issues' as issues that impact society, and we refer to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a useful tool for thinking about social issues. We believe that entrepreneurs have the potential to contribute powerfully to solutions to society's issues through successful businesses.
If you are an eligible female entrepreneur interested in grant support for an early-stage, for-profit business, please select the 'EmpowHer Grant' below.
Her Village Grants
Eligible applicants: Nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organizations that support female entrepreneurs. Applicant organizations must be registered and operating in the United States and must offer entrepreneurship-related programs or services directly to women, including (but not limited to) skill-building opportunities, mentorship, education, business incubators/accelerators/services, or financial support. Please refer to the Boundless Futures Foundation website for more information.
If you represent a nonprofit that supports female entrepreneurs and would benefit from grant funding, please note that there are two application cycles per year for 'Her Village Grants.' If you do not see a Her Village Grant link on this page, please check back between January and mid-March, or between July and mid-September.
